12 Jul Breast Cancer Survivor Gift Guide #2
By: Laura Nell Burton
Hope y’all enjoyed our first breast cancer survivor gift guide posted earlier this week (if you missed it, click here). Here’s another round of pink goodies to brighten up any patient’s weeks recovering in bed (I had so many suggestions, it was too much for one blog). We’re also SO excited to be working on an all-pink breast cancer awareness soirée with old friends and new collaborators (enter Hazen & Co., Elizabeth Wilson Designs and Heidi Carey) posting in early August. Stay tuned for sneak peek Instagram stories from our upcoming photoshoot! I want to thank my family, friends and, from the bottom of my heart, the thoughtful Cloche clients who blessed me as I recovered. Y’all, one Cloche bride’s mother cooked my entire family of five a delicious homemade meal! Another bride’s family sent a beautiful pink flower arrangement that brightened up my kitchen all week. Christin and I have the most wonderful clients!
One thing I’ve learned is how important it is to reach out by leaving a voice mail, sending a text or shopping for a pretty gift for those in need. The gesture may go unacknowledged, but it won’t go unappreciated. People who reach out, most certainly stand out. I’ll never forget those who regularly checked on me or their singular acts of kindness during my time of need. I am ever grateful †
